My four-day-weekend is half over...
...But I have done a lot of great stuff, and I still have two more days!!!
Saturday morning I had my dad help me with some algebra stuff that either I didn't remember or I wasn't taught. He then went over a graded review with me so that I could get the highest grade possible. That took about an hour and a half, and then it was lunch time. After lunch I went to the mall with my mom so that she could get something new to wear to her outing later that day. She found something, but she had to go to two stores to compile the outfit (she ended up with two). We then went home so that she could get ready, and I finished my individual reading entry. I read some old comics on-line, and then it was time to get ready to go to dinner. I wore the leather jacket that my mom brought back with her from my great-aunt's funeral with a turquoise turtleneck and jeans. My dad and I went to the place where my mom was going to be - she helps with set-up and sound for a garage-band of sorts (group of friends that perform music they like for fun). The reason we went this time is that my grandparents on my mom's side and several of my grandparents' friends were coming to hear the band perform. I had trout for dinner. We stayed pretty late - we didn't get home until about 9:45.
Sunday morning I got up as usual to go to church. I sang in the choir because I wasn't scheduled to serve and I didn't need to sub for anyone. After church mom and I went home, and we had lunch. My mom and I had to get busy making a cake for the birthday celebration later - a banana rum cake. We did that and then went to my grandparents' house. My dad was able to park in the driveway becaue he doesn't have a car that leaks oil anymore!! We didn't get home from that until about 10:10.
Today I am going to do some cleaning and laundry to help my mom out. Besides, I don't have much to do that I could think of other than read/write/watch TV. My room has a big pile of clothes on one side anyway (the rest of it is neat).
