Why do teachers give so much work?

Since I last posted, I have had the motherload of homework (well... maybe not the motherload, but close). I have had a lot of regular assignments, but that's not all. This past Monday, I had a presentation to do in my Spanish class. I spent time every day last week and over the weekend working on it. I did a bit on Saturday, and then a ton of work on Sunday, 4.5 hours to be exact. And, I had two tests on Tuesday - The Crucible (the hardest test I will take in English all year according to my teacher) and a test on motion in Physics. I had an Algebra test on Wed. If this week wasn't a 2.5 day week, I would have been dead by now.

I went to Harper's Ferry last Saturday with the History Club. It was a fun trip, but too short. I want to go back there to actually get time to walk around in the town (we didn't really do that).

Yesterday I went to church in the morning to sing in the choir. In the afternoon, my grandparents and uncle came to my house for Thanksgiving dinner. It was scrumptious, per usual. I made the dessert - pumpkin pie and pecan tassies. I enjoyed having some time with my grandmother (and other family members, of course!).

Today I haven't been doing much - I watched the Macy's parade that I recorded yesterday, and now I am updating my blog.

I guess that's it for now...
