My Life from December to the Present

I have been very busy during this school year (my sophomore year) with school work. That is why I have not updated my blog at all. I will try to update often in July and August, but I probably won't during June

Here are the highlights of my life from December to the present.

December:
- Holiday Spectacular (Dec 5-6 rehearsal, 7-9 performances) My school has a h0liday drama presentation, in which a band and our mass choir (all of the auditioned choirs, I'm in one) provide music to accompany the acting. The last day was cancelled because of a snow day, so the performance was postponed to the following Monday.

- X-MAS break: I went to visit relatives, and worked on my NHD project (more on that next).

December - January: National History Day (NHD) project
- all of the honors World History II students were required to participate in NHD. This year's theme was taking a stand in history. I did mine on music and Vatican II (a Catholic Church thing). During December and January I worked on the draft and then final.

January: I got braces :(

February: MY SWEET 16!!!!!

March-April: Nothing exciting happened

May:
-SOLs (state knowledge testing)
400: passing, 500: pass advanced, 600: perfect
I already know that I got a 499 in Geometry and 492 in Chemistry. So close to pass advanced (especially Geometry).

- I was trained to be an altar server on the 16th !!! I'm a girl, and am in the Arlington diocese. It was just my diocese and the diocese in Lincoln, Nebraska that didn't allow them, but the bishop for my diocese finally decided to allow girl altar servers. I haven't served at a mass yet, though.
