UUGGHH!!

Today I got up, had breakfast, and got dressed. I then went to my SAT Prep class. We talked about the essay, and then we did an essay and two short sections of a practice test.

I then came home and had lunch. I then spent the entire afternoon on school work, and it is Saturday- UUUGGGHHH!!!

We went to an Italian restaurant for dinner, and then over to Target to look for one of those things that you put on the floor of your garage so that you know when you have pulled your car in far enough. We couldn't find it there, but we did get paper towels which we were in dire need of.

I'm tired, so I think I am going to go watch TV after I put my pjs on.

My utterly draining/boring week...

Hi:

Well, Wednesday was the first B day of two in a row. History and Web Page Development were boring. In History we took notes, and in Web Development we started on Macromedia Fireworks and then I worked really hard on my web page. Wednesday in Spanish we worked on preterite vs. imperfect. That is really tough!! I then went to Algebra II, where we are currently learning a really tough topic (at least for me - it's all visual :) ). Wednesday I had to stay after for a History Club meeting. It was boring because we just had our regular club business and then a viewing of the Band of Brothers (which we do every year so I skipped out on). I then had to go with my mom to pick something up at the mall, and then do my homework. Uugh! I hate B days.

Thursday was pretty much the same. I finished my web page in class yesterday!!! I now understand most everything except rational graphs in Algebra !!! Yay!!! I am glad that two days of having Spanish and then Algebra (and working on tough topics in both) is done with! It is just draining. I then had to do all of my homework. I stayed after in Algebra so I got my homework for that class done, but I still have to study for a quiz we are having on Tuesday.

Today was boring. We had a pep rally at the end of the day, so the schedule was switched. We had 1st, 7th, 5th, 3rd. Physics was boring because we had a sub so all we did was watch a video and then do worksheets. I then went to Choir which is fun but at the same time boring because it doesn't require utter concentration, like math or english would. I then went to English. We did an easy warm-up practicing grammar. We then did a vocab drill because we have a vocab quiz on Monday. We then continued on the Crucible. By the way... I hate the Crucible. It is so hard to analyze a play!!! It brings me back to the days of Oedipus last year Uugh.. those aren't good memories. The pep rally was boring. After school I went to the homecoming parade. My mom was giving me grief about not going with a group of friends, but all my friends' parents work. She then said "why didn't you invite them, and I could drop you off?" I said "I never really talked to them this week because I wasn't on the bus in the afternoon!" For dinner tonight we went to Panera. I came home and watched TV. I then decided to update my blog because the past few days are still fresh in my brain.

Oh well... see you tomorrow.

I'm so sorry...

...for not updating this blog for the past nine days. I have been busy doing other things and just forgot to update this weekend.

So... last week was a pretty normal week, except for all of the tests/quizzes. Last Wednesday (Oct 4) I had an Algebra II test. The material was pretty simple, so I got a 96% on it which really boosted my grade up a lot. Thursday I had a Physics quiz on motion (I got a C+ uugghh!!!) and a quiz on vocabulary in English that I aced :). Friday I had to stay after for Algebra, like I do every week.

This weekend I didn't really do much. I went to my SAT prep course on Saturday. On Sunday I went to church in the morning and then had to go back that afternoon for my church's confirmation mass, which I served at. Yesterday afternoon my mom and I went to the mall. It was really crowded !!!

Today I went to school as usual. It is spirit week this week, because homecoming is this weekend. Today was tropical day, so I borrowed one of my mom's Hawaiian shirts. Lunch was really annoying because either someone from the leadership class (SGA) was on the mic or there was music playing really loudly. It was oober annoying!! I then went to choir. Class went fine, but then I had a mass choir rehearsal after school until 4pm. Three hours of choir just wears you out! I came home and did the homework that I had, which wasn't much because today was a light homework day. I am going to watch Gilmore Girls in about a half-hour.

This week I have to basically stay after every single day. Today I had to stay after for the mass choir rehearsal. Tomorrow I have a history club meeting. Thursday I have to stay after for Algebra. Friday I will be coming home on the bus, but it is the day of the homecoming parade, so I will be out for most of the afternoon.

Tomorrow is Western Day. I think I am going to wear jeans and borrow a vest of my mom's that looks westerny.

Once again, sorry for not updating.

My weekend

Hello Everyone -

I have had a good weekend. Not too busy, but not too boring either.

Friday evening my family went to Five Guys (a hamburger joint) in my Dad's new car.

Yesterday morning I had my SAT Prep class. I got an essay back that I had written a few weeks ago. I was one of the people that my instructor was talking about when she said that some people didn't back up their theses with concrete thoughts. But I did have to hand-write the essay in 25 minutes, and it was about a weird topic. Yesterday afternoon I didn't do much. Yesterday evening I went to the Work Camp reunion. It was nice to catch up with all of my friends.

This morning my mom drove my dad's car to church. I sang in the choir. There were only three (3) other sopranos!!! That is pathetic (there are usually 6 or 7 total). We came home and had lunch. I haven't been doing much this afternoon, although I did go get my hair cut. It was sooo long!!! I also read for my IR assignment. Now I am surfing the net and remembered that I hadn't updated my blog for the weekend. Tonight my family is going to go out to dinner - my mom says she is still tired from making potato salad for the reunion yesterday, but my dad and I both think she just doesn't want to cook!
