I'll be away...

Hi guys -

Well, the last two days have been very hectic. Yesterday morning and early afternoon I packed for my trip. Late yesterday afternoon I went to my pool for the first time. This morning I finished packing. This afternoon I just chilled because it will be the last chill time for a week. In aprox. 6 minutes I am leaving to go meet up with my group that I am going on a church WorkCamp with. I won't be back until next Friday afternoon, so I won't be able to update. I'll give you a full report when I get back. Toodleoo!

My summer so far...

Hi-

So, I said I would update but I haven't for like four days. Well, don't worry. I didn't forget about you for long. Since I last updated, I had my last two days of school. I thought my Spanish final was hard, but I got a B+ on it, so that's good. I got a C+ on my English final, A on my Geometry final, B on my History final, and A on my Chemistry final. So, my grades are widespread but still good.

I don't know why I even made myself go the last day of school. The teachers weren't even taking attendance, so a lot of people didn't even bother to show up (there were only 11 people on my bus that morning, which is 6 less than half capacity). There were a few people in my 1st and 2nd period classes, but after that I was the only one in my classes. It was soooo boring. Some of the time I read, but other times I just stared at the wall. Most of the kids that even came just wandered around.

These last few days I have been doing a lot of reading, as well as some light organizational tasks in my rooom. I went on errands with my Mom both days. Tomorrow I might be going to the mall. I don't think I've been there to really shop since the day that Spring Break started.

I'll stop rambling and try to remember to update this blog more often.

The end of the school year

Hello -

Well, the reason I haven't updated my blog is because of the end of the school year. Last Saturday I went on a camping trip, but came home that night instead of staying overnight. Last Sunday I was an altar server for the first time and that afternoon I studied for finals. Last Mon/Tues were just regular days for me, with a whole heck of a lot of studying for finals. Wednesday I had my Chemistry final, which was fairly easy. Thursday I had my Geometry final, which was hard but not tough. After school that day I had practice for singing at my school's graduation. That afternoon I studied like crazy. Friday was a killer day, with my Honors World History final (200 questions in 110 minutes) and my English final (35 scantron questions on Shakespeare and 1 essay on the Canterbury Tales.) I thought it was going to be horrible, but it didn't turn out to be as bad as I thought it was going to be. Friday afternoon I studied for my Spanish final, and then started to clean my room. Yesterday afternoon I finished cleaning my room (a total clean) and then started to clean our kitchen but just got tired of cleaning. I then went to dinner. This morning I went to church and was an altar server again, and this afternoon I've been doing stuff that needs to get done, but not doing a whole lot. Tomorrow I have my Spanish final, and then I'm totally done (except for the last day, which is just basically controlled wandering around.) I'll try to update this blog fairly often.

My Friday/Weekend/Monday/Today

Friday was an ok day, but I got assigned to a team for a project presentation I had to do in Spanish today. I then spent the entire afternoon on English homework. I spent a good bit of time Saturday working on my Spanish presentation. Sunday was just a normal day.

Yesterday was fine, except I had a stupid culture in-class project in History. I then had a true/false test in Health. I had a lot of homework (studying) to do, so I didn't even get to all of it.

Today was just a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. The bad stuff started at 11:00 when I went to English. The reason that it was so bad is that I dislike the class and teacher. On top of that my teacher is really far behind, so is trying to catch us up, but I don't know how he is going to do it.

I then went to Spanish. Today was my presentation. It was horrible. My group mate that was supposed to create a handout forgot to do so, and didn't save our PowerPoint so I was then put to the task of creating a handout to give out tomorrow. That means I have to go find my Spanish teacher tomorrow morning. During the presentation, my class didn't stop talking and or pay attention. My stupid teacher didn't even try to stop them from talking and get them to pay attention. He said that it was their fault for not paying attention, when it really is rude for the people that are trying to present.

My bad school day ended with me not being able to find my bus. Let me give you a little background that will help you understand me. In my neighborhood there is a boy who uses a wheelchair, who I am good friends with (not dating, just friends). At the beginning of last year he was the only one on a bus that is basically just a regular bus minus some seats with a wheelchair lift. My bus was overcrowded, so they moved two stops onto his bus. There are only a few of the kind of bus that we use in the county. Moving back to current times, our normal bus has some sort of transmission problem so won't be in use for the rest of the school year (only 10 more days left). The sub bus that we are currently using needs to go in for service. There aren't any more busses like the kind we use available. What I think is going on (but I'm not sure 'cause he won't tell me) is that the boy is going to be transported on a regular handicap bus, and the rest of us will be on a regular bus. I am not sure of that, because the only thing I got out of him at lunch today was the transmission problem and our sub bus needing service. My bus had been in the front of the school so that the boy who uses a wheelchair could get to the bus. Yesterday our driver said that starting today we would look for him in the line of busses that turns left. Well, I looked and looked and looked for the route number or bus, but couldn't find my bus. I wasn't the only one. After all the busses had left, I went up to my subschool to call my mom, but when I first tried to call her she wasn't home. That just made things worse. Thank goodness that the second time I called she answered.

Sorry if I dragged on, but that was my terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.

SOL Scores and Today

Hi:

I got my History SOL score back today.

drumroll please...

535!!!!! At one point, I thought I was going to fail it, but now I'm feeling really good about it, and about my final.

So, what am I doing this afternoon you ask? I have an afternoon of English homework to look foreward to. The reason for this is not because I am a procrastinator, it is because my teacher somehow got a week behind, yet is still making us responsible for all the work that we are behind on because of him (He says that being behind is our fault, when it isn't.).

Okay, I'll stop rambling.

13 more school days!!! (4 of which are short)!!!!!
